Well, here I go!!!!!!!! I know next to nothing about being a successful blogger, but I guess the only way to be one is to get started, right?
Today I was looking out the window at all the falling leaves. Across the road all the crop has been taken out of the field, but it is still a lovely day. God certainly knows how to paint a landscape no matter what season of the year!
A while back I had picked up some discontinued wallpaper books from a local paint store. This pretty little country church was part of a border strip and it just reminded me of fall. So I decided to make a fall card with the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday in mind.
We have so much to be thankful for, don't we. Even when things seem so mixed up in our world we still can have peace knowing Who is in charge.
Blessings! Catch you later!

Hello again!
Today I spoke on the telephone with a lady who lives in the same small town as I do. We had met up at a cardmaking activity which I was helping with at a local nursing home. It is really embarassing how many people I don't know in this small community I live in. To make a long story short she is also a crafter, a card maker and a BLOGGER! She was such an inspiration and it made me decide to "get back in the saddle again" as far as my blogging.
I have been loosing ground when it comes to my computer/techno skills. When I was still working I was much better but I have certainly fallen behind. And blogging is such a nice way to share thoughts, craft ideas and especially the sweetness of having Jesus in your life.
Not to make excuses, but I have been dealing with some medical issues over the last two years. And not only with myself but also with my mom who passed away in July of this year. I have been having back problems which resulted in three surgeries and I am probably going to have more. But that doesn't mean that I can't type right?
So this is my "new beginning" entry...Hope to get some cards posted soon. Take care and God Bless!

Still here - with lots to do before He returns!
Hello readers!
It is almost 10pm and I am still here, sitting at my computer. Today was the day that was (inaccurately) predicted to be the end of the world. I must say there was a tiny part of me that was hoping it might be true. How wonderful it will be to see the Lord Jesus Christ return. But the part of me that knows the scriptures was pretty sure it wasn't going to happen.
Why do people make predictions like this? Who knows...It's bad I think for true Christians because people who are against us anyway are always looking for yet another reason to ridicule us. I just came from a Yahoo news website where folks could type in comments about Mr. Camping. Almost three-fourths of the comments were from people proudly claiming their atheism and making derogatory remarks which stereo-typed all Christians as being "nut cases".
Do you want to know what I think we should be doing? I think we should start and end our days with a little bit of self examination and pray that the Lord would strengthen us in our daily walk. Pray that we become more and more like Jesus each day and see how we can share Christ with others in ways that are beneficial to our neighbors and communities. If we ask God for the Comforter, He will send Him. We don't know when Christ will return but we do know that with every day finished it is another day closer!
