Jesus, Be My Center

Good afternoon dear bloggers (or in my case, empty blog spot)

Yes, it is a good afternoon. I made it through the morning! I took my 7 yr old grand daughter, my 5 yr old grand son and my 1 yr old grand daughter to Dollar General, Sunshine Foods and Subway this morning and I am still here to tell you about it!!!! Actually, they were fairly good. Shopping is really an adventure at that age. And there is really something endearing about pint- size terrorists who hum classical music. (my grandchildren have been raised on classical music).

When we got back home, I quickly fed the baby and put her down for, hopefully, a looonnnng nap! Then we went outside and put genuine "bug capsules" in a bowl of water outside so we could wait for them to turn into foamy bugs. So far we are still waiting. (After all, what do you expect for $1 at the dollar store?) Then we had a silly string fight. This goes well until it's time to picky up the string. But they are having fun.

Do you have children, or grandchildren. Aren't they truly a blessing. Sometimes when the bottle has been dripped all over the sofa, or everyone is hollering or crying, you don't feel that way, but in the end, what is life without children? God was just really, really wise to give them to us when we were young.
