In His Image

Good morning! Today is another beautiful spring day. My little granddaughter Lauren, went off to her last day of school this morning. As she went out the door, the birds were singing, the sun was shining, it was one of those mornings which make you feel a little more optimistic about life.

I don't think I have mentioned yet that one of my hobbies is card making. I love to make handmade greeting cards. I have always enjoyed making things. When I was a little girl I loved to draw. In school, art class was just about my favorite subject next to my music classes.

The reason I mention this is just to say that I hope you have found your creative niche. I either read or heard somewhere that we all have this within us because we are made in God's image. And He is the creator. And I figure he must really, really love creating because look at all the attention to detail in our world. I absolutely cannot understand how people can buy into evolution. It truly takes more faith to believe that the diversity and intricacies of our world and universe JUST HAPPENED than to believe a loving God made then specifically and for a purpose.

When I make my cards, I like to tuck a scripture inside. I hope that my creativity glorifies God because that is what our PURPOSE is.
